Hotel Walserberg

Set against a breathtaking  mountain backdrop,  the 4 star Hotel Walserberg in Warth am Arlberg is located at an altitude of 1,500 metres above sea level. The family-run hotel enjoys a great position close to the local cable car in the picturesque alpine village of Warth.

Family values and tradition lie at the heart of our enterprise.  Everything began with the bakery, which grandfather Vinzenz Walch opened in Warth in December 1946.

Today‘s guests are welcomed by the third generation of the Walch family, who are committed to the promotion of outdoor pursuits and extra special rest and relaxation facilities.

Our “Good Morning“ breakfast ensures guests a  perfect start to the day. Freshly baked bread from the family bakery and the homemade Berg.Genuss (“Mountain.Enjoyment“) products are the icing on the cake.

Fortified for the day, the ski adventure can begin. Just a few metres away from the hotel, the local  “Ski-In and Ski-Out“ cable car brings guests to up to the snow-filled ski area of Warth-Schröcken, at an altitude of 2,050 metres above sea level and part of the world-renowned Ski Arlberg ski region.

Offering 45 bedrooms, the hotel’s central position in the village enables summer guests to start their day’s walking just a few steps away from their accommodation.

After a day in the clear mountain air it’s time to put your feet up and relax. Lie back in the panoramic quiet room, warm up in one of the saunas or the steam bath, or treat yourself to a massage to regenerate those tired muscles. Hotel Walserberg is not an indoor wellness hotel, but more of a well-being centre which starts in the great outdoors.

The words “awareness“, “mindfulness“, “nature“ and “therapy“ are just some of the words Walserberg  guests have used to describe this sense of well-being in the mountains.

The crystal clear mountain air and outdoor activities on the high peaks of Arlberg make you hungry. The Walserberg team of chefs take pride in spoiling their guests with a 5-course dinner.  As unashamedly dedicated wine buffs, your hosts Michelle & Simon are always on hand to recommend an appropriate tipple from the wine cellar or, after dinner, a homemade gin at the hotel bar.
